The Electrical Engineering department was established in the year 2010. The institute was started diploma engineering and has grown over the years to be a competent department with state of the computing facilities, skilled faculty and well equipped laboratories for the betterment of the students. We feel pleasure to declare that our management has taken decision to convert Diploma Engineering to Degree Engineering College from academic year 2023-24 with the intake of 60 students.

Electrical Engineering (Electronics and Power) is one of the vital branches of Engineering & can be considered as the mother branch. The goal of the Electrical Engineering (Electronics and Power) is to prepare students for a career as an Electrical Engineer which deals with the basic principles and detailed analysis of various apparatuses and systems for electricity generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization. The stream also covers the study of many electronic devices and circuits involved in measuring, instrumentation, protection, and control of electrical equipment and their conversion systems. The scope of department is to design and develop new electrical systems, test equipment, and solve problems also work on a diverse range of technologies, from the design of household appliances, telecommunication systems, lighting and wiring of buildings, satellite communications and electrical power stations.

Infrastructure

• Basic Electrical Lab consist of RLC kit, B-H Curve kit, Single phase Transformer, Cut section of D.C. Motor, Rheostat, Meters etc
• Electrical Machines Lab consist D.C series motor, D.C shunt Motor, Induction motor & Transformer etc.
• Switchgear & Protection Lab consist Relay testing kit, Electromagnetic relay. Numerical based relay, Demo kit of MCB, ELCB and RCB etc.
• Electrical Measurement & Instrumentation Lab consists of CRO, Portable meters, Level / Pressure/ Displacement measurement kits, 3 phase Auto Transformers, Digital millimeters, 3 phase &1 phase lamp banks Current & Potential Transformer etc.
• Power Electronics consists 1 & 3 phase Fully Controlled converter, DC Chopper, PWM Inverter, 1HP motor with loading arrangement & Research laboratory etc.
